British trio Scouting For Girls completed their rise to No. 1 on the U.K. album chart yesterday with their self-titled debut album. Swedish DJ-artist Basshunter moved into a second week atop the singles chart with "Now You're Gone" (Hard2Beat).

'Enchanted' Dominates Oscar Song Category

Songs from the film "Enchanted" dominated the best original song category nominees for the 2008 Academy Awards, which were announced this morning (Jan. 22). Three of the five nods, all with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, went to the film in the form of "Happy Working Song," "So Close" and "That's How You Know."

Spokesman: WGA Won't Picket Grammy Ceremony

The Writer's Guild of America won't picket the Grammy Awards next month, according to a guild spokesman, but the status of the Recording Academy's application to the WGA for an interim agreement for their two members who work on the show is still up in the air.

Blind Melon Preps First Studio Set Since '95
